Smashed-Up Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
When it comes to sweets in our house, we try to practice moderation, but when it comes to mini peanut butter cups, that goes out the window. To make these Smashed-Up Peanut Butter Cup Brownies, I had to hide the bag of peanut butter cups. It’s hard hiding them when I am the one that’s doing the looking.
I wanted to make a brownie that infused all the chocolate and peanut butter flavors that go so well together, but I also wanted a deeper depth of those flavors and added textures. I start with a brownie base of milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter.
The topping is a combination of dark chocolate chunks, semi-sweet chocolate chips and smashed up mini peanut butter cups, thrown together and baked into a new brownie with classic flavors.
The look of these Smashed-Up Peanut Butter Cup Brownies is outrageous! The taste of the different flavors of chocolate and the peanut butter makes these brownies irresistible. If you are like me, you’ll have to hide them from yourself too. Enjoy!
