Pork Rind Party Mix

Pork Rind Party Mix

I am a true fan of party mix. When I was a child, the holiday season did not begin until my mom pulled out the Chex’s party mix from the oven.

My mother’s recipe probably came from the back of the cereal box. That recipe is available on this website. You can also find other party mix variations that I like and have developed over the years.

Pork Rind Party Mix is different from other party mixes I have made. This recipe is low carb.

Sometimes Dale and I try to eat a low-carb diet, and when we do, this Pork Rind Party Mix works perfectly. This recipe uses the standard spice mixture in the classic party mix, but instead of carb-heavy cereals and crackers, I use pork rinds and mixed nuts.

The result is a party mix that is savory and crunchy, and salty. It satisfies the cravings I get while on a low-carb diet. Even if you’re not a fan of pork rinds, you might surprise yourself when you take the first bite of this savory treat; I know I was shocked.

I hope you make this recipe for the pork rind party mix soon. It doesn’t have to be the beginning of the holiday season to enjoy this crazy Dash good party mix. Enjoy!
