In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a stand mixer, beat butter and both sugars until creamy, add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition, Add vanilla and mix until incorporated.
Using a 6 oz scoop, combine two scoops of dough and form into a ball. Place six balls on the cookie sheet spaced 2 inches apart.
Bake until golden, about 13 minutes. Let sit on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool. Repeat with remaining dough.
