Ham and Cheese Quiche

My Ham and Cheese Quiche is light, flavorful, and the crust? Well, forget about it! It is flakey and holds up to any filling you throw at it. All in all, the perfect quiche.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 eggs, beaten beaten
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups finely diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 deep dish pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, and set aside

  3. Spread cheese and ham on the bottom of the crust

  4.  Pour filling into pie crust

  5. set on a baking sheet and place in oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until set.

  6. Serve warm or chilled.
