Day old Fried Chicken is reinvented by dipping it in a tangy BBQ sauce and baking it until the sauce creates a sticky glaze that melts in your mouth.
In a saucepan over low heat, mix the brown sugar, chile sauce, rum, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, dry mustard, and pepper.
Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool, and refrigerate until ready to use.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Dip pieces of cold fired chicken in the BBQ sauce, taking care to completely coat the chicken.
lay coated chicken on the baking sheet, chicken should not touch.
bake 35 to forty mins, or until the coating begins to carnalize.
remove from oven and allow to set 5 mins before serving. Enjoy.
